Capital Museum and Hutong Tour
Our tour starts at the Capital Museum, where we will learn about Beijing’s thousands of years of customs and culture, and see extraordinary collections of historic treasures, including sculptures, jade, and bronzes – surely, an eye opening experience! After lunch, we will visit Prince Gong’s Mansion, Beijing’s largest and best preserved royal mansion of the Qing Dynasty. Next, we will take a rickshaw ride through the old narrow streets of Beijing, and savor the leisurely pace of local life. Afterwards, we will visit the home of a local family and learn about their traditional Hutong courtyard life. Finally, we will climb to the top of the 800 year old Drum Tower for a panoramic view of Beijing.

- 08:00-09:00 Pick guests up from hotel in the morning
- 09:30-11:00 Visit the Capital Museum, one of the best places to acquaint yourself with the history and culture of China's capital city.
- 11:30-12:30 Lunch at local restaurant
- 13:00-15:30 visit the magnificent gardens at the Prince Gong's Mansion, Beijing's largest and the best preserved royal mansion of the Qing Dynasty. Next, you'll take the tour to the streets of old Beijing by rickshaw, also known as a pedicab. This portion of the tour allows you to get a taste of life in the city as your driver pedals through the old, narrow streets or hutongs and visit the tea house.
